Incubating Culture and Arts

Rawafed contributes to the creation of a supportive cultural and artistic environment in Syria to empower cultural operators, managers, researchers and artists in their career development. It does this through the development of lasting partnerships with both public and private cultural institutions, and stakeholders on a local, national and international level.

The Cultural Projects Incubator is an essential tool of Rawafed; it works with projects with a long term creative vision for development, within different communities, and for a range of emerging artistic personnel. The incubator provides a range of support to the project initiators to enable them to implement, and ensure the sustainability of their initiatives. 

Rawafed also creates opportunities through a Cultural Network for information gathering and exchange of ideas, and for dialogue around cultural questions.  It brings together people from all backgrounds with an interest in promoting culture for the development of Syria.
